Turnbuckles

Turnbuckles are adjustable rigging hardware used to tension or adjust the length of wire ropes, cables, or rods. They consist of a body with two end fittings (usually eye bolts or hooks) and a central threaded section that can be rotated to tighten or loosen the assembly.
