Rigging hardwares

Rigging hardware refers to a wide range of components and equipment used in various lifting, hoisting, and rigging applications. These hardware items are designed to provide secure connections, facilitate load distribution, and ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.

  1. Shackles: Shackles are U-shaped metal connectors with a pin or bolt across the opening. They are used to join lifting components together, such as chains, slings, or hooks. Shackles come in different designs, including anchor shackles, chain shackles, and bow shackles.

  2. Wire Rope Clips: Wire rope clips, also known as cable clamps or u-bolt clamps, are used to secure the ends of wire ropes together or create an eye-loop termination. They consist of a u-shaped bolt and saddle that grip the wire rope, and a nut that holds them tightly together.

  3. Thimbles: Thimbles are protective sleeves or inserts used to reinforce and protect wire rope or synthetic rope eye loops from wear and deformation. They help maintain the strength and integrity of the rope and prevent it from being crushed or damaged by sharp bends or abrasion.

  4. Turnbuckles: Turnbuckles are adjustable rigging hardware used to tension or adjust the length of wire ropes, cables, or rods. They consist of a body with two end fittings (usually eye bolts or hooks) and a central threaded section that can be rotated to tighten or loosen the assembly.

  5. Snap hook: snap hook, also known as a spring hook or carabiner, is a type of rigging hardware commonly used for quick and secure connections in various applications.
