4. Lifting pulley: lifting pulley is a mechanical device used to change the direction of a force and increase the mechanical advantage in lifting or pulling operations. It consists of a grooved wheel or sheave that rotates on an axle or a fixed frame. The pulley is typically made of metal or durable plastic materials.
