Do you know what is the difference between G80 and G100 standard chain

1. G80 and G100 are strength grade standards for the lifting chain and lifting equipment,to indicate the carrying capacity of the chain and the use scenario.
2. G80 chain: Indicate the minimum tensile strength of the chain is 80 times the chain cross-sectional area. G80 chain has a high load carrying capacity and tensile strength, which is typically made of alloy steel, heat treated and hardened to provide higher strength and wear resistance, widely used in lifting, hoisting, hauling and anchoring.
3. G100 chain: It is a higher strength chain with a minimum tensile strength of 100 times the chain cross-sectional area, which has a higher load carrying capacity and a greater safety factor than G80 chain. G100 chains are usually used for lifting occasions with higher requirements for strength and weight, such as heavy industrial lifting, ship lifting and so on.
4. G80 & G100 chains usually comply with international standards such as the European standard EN818 and the American standard ASTM. It is necessary to select the appropriate chain grade according to the specific workload, safety requirements and current standards to ensure the safety and reliability of the chain.
5. Same important that the use and maintenance requirements of the chain to be followed, and regularly checking the wear, deformation and damage of the chain to ensure its normal operation and safe use.
