To eliminate the safety hazard of the hook, maintenance is the most essential. Daily inspection and maintenance include the following:
1. Wipe the main hook clean;
2. Lubricate pulleys, rotating parts and other parts with grease fittings;
3. Check all the bolts and screws, make sure that all cotter pins are complete and open the cotter;
4. Check whether the wheel groove and rim of the pulley are worn evenly, whether the wire rope matches the wheel groove, whether the pulley is loose or shaking;
5. Make sure that the rotating part of the hook can rotate freely, and the gap should not be too large. If the rotation is difficult or there is a feeling of being stuck, it is necessary to check whether the bearing, the bushing is damaged or the lubrication is insufficient;
6. Check the overload damage of the main hook;
7. Check side plate elongation, aperture elongation, bolt bending or elongation, cracks, etc.;
8. Check the anti-decoupling device.
Carry out daily maintenance of the hooks and eliminate some hidden dangers in the bud. This is not only responsible for the progress of the project, but also responsible for the life and property of the construction personnel.
